Archer Park Station and Steam Tram Museum is the home of the fully restored Purrey Steam Tram and is located in Denison Street, between Archer and Cambridge Streets, Rockhampton.
The tram is believed to be the only one of its kind in the world, and is a wonderful relic of Rockhampton's tram history dating back to 1909. The museum tells the story of Archer Park Station (built in 1899) and the unique Purrey Steam Tram, through photographs, soundscapes and object-based exhibitions.
Archer Park Station and Steam Tram Museum is open Monday to Friday and Sundays 9am to 4pm (Closed Saturdays).
